Adraine Kreglo served as the President and CEO of the Volunteer Center of Manatee County and the Florida Inland Communities from 1994 to 2012.
She has managed many Volunteer Reception Centers, managing thousands of unaffiliated volunteers after disasters in communities across the world during times of disaster.
She managed (from writing the grant to administering the program) years of National Service (AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps*Promise Fellows) programs.
She also encouraged, empowered and trained more than 25,000 youth through the ManaTEEN Club program, all while being the leader, the sole grant writer and grant manager of more than a million dollars, annually.
Adraine is the recipient of the National Service Leader Award, Daily Points of Light Award and National Eckerd 100 Women of Influence recognition. She serves as a national disaster response trainer and sits on numerous local, state, and national boards for community based organizations.
She has written several service learning guides to empower young people as decision makers in their communities. Adraine continues to guide one of the nation’s largest youth volunteer initiatives, ManaTEENs, engaging thousands of youth as volunteers in SW Florida, as a volunteer.
Adraine created Serendipity Solutions to share her grant writing and fund raising expertise with nonprofits nationwide. Since December 2008, Serendipity Solutions has partnered with hundreds of nonprofits, raising millions in funding.
